About Hotel

The Hotel Krishna Niwas is owned and run by a family of artists: Jairaj Soni, his wife Sushma Soni & brothers Nirbhayraj, Giriraj & Rakesh Soni, and is situated in the Old City, close to the famous Pichola Lake and is within convenient walking distance of shops, restaurants and many of the top tourist attractions.  The Krishna Niwas is tastefully decorated in the traditional haveli style of Rajasthan.

 

It offers a superb view over Pichola Lake, with its twin islands - Jag Mahal Island (Lake Palace) and Jagmandir Island.  The vista also includes the City Palace, Jagdish Temple & the picturesque buildings of the Old City. In the distance one can see the romantic Monsoon Palace perched atop Bansdara Mountain, and the sweeping Avavali Range.

 

Rooms

The Hotel Krishna Niwas comprises eleven en-suite guest rooms. The guest rooms all have sprung mattresses, telephone, television & air-conditioning. All rooms are beautifully designed & painted by Jairaj, his brothers & pupils.  The hotel is very comfortable and elegant yet cosy, thereby affording guests a comfortable stay.

 

The Krishna Niwas has wonderful rooftop relaxation area which includes an open terrace and a covered section.
